Moya in Jim Thorpe offers upscale, globally inspired cuisine with simple ingredients and elegant presentation. Owner and chef Heriberto Yunda brings over four decades of culinary experience from Ecuador, New York City, and Istanbul to this acclaimed local favorite. Located on historic Race Street, Moya combines fine dining with a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that invites guests to explore bold flavors and seasonal ingredients.

Yunda’s ever-changing menu celebrates freshness and creativity. Guests can share plates as they arrive or build a full-course meal from innovative starters, entrées, and sides. Choose from fresh seafood, handmade pastas, tender meats, and globally inspired vegetables, each designed for a memorable culinary experience. A curated wine and beer list complements every dish with premium domestic and international selections.

Reservations are strongly encouraged for weekend evenings and larger parties. The dining room also features original artwork by co-owner and local artist Stephanie Verme. With refined flavors and artistic ambiance, Moya delivers a complete sensory experience in one of Jim Thorpe’s most historic neighborhoods.

Menu Highlights

Begin with seasonal starters like avocado salad with arugula, almonds, parmesan, and lemon olive oil or warm almond-encrusted eggplant stuffed with ricotta. Shareable small plates include sautéed mushrooms with pancetta and white beans or spicy mussels with coconut milk and curry.

Main courses feature grilled ginger salmon, sesame-crusted yellowfin tuna, rack of lamb with sea salt and olive oil, and handmade pastas like gnocchi with jumbo lump crab in cream sauce. Choose from a variety of sides, like truffle-scented sautéed potatoes or broccoli with shallots and olive oil.

The drink menu includes standout wines like Barolo, Gavi Di Gavi, and sparkling Champagne, plus craft beers and hard cider from the U.S. and abroad.

Moya in Jim Thorpe delivers artful cuisine, international flair, and exceptional service.
