Housed in what was once a 1960s tavern, Wilkes-Barre’s MVD Restaurant and Bar offers a unique, sustainable dining experience. Chef Valeria Sartor, along with her husband Sal Deluca, create a hospitable environment to enjoy delicious food.  The restaurant is known for its locally sourced ingredients. MVD also makes major efforts to minimize food waste. From small plates to a 5-course dinner, MVD’s menu allows diners to enjoy a variety of options. Specialty cocktails and a variety of wines and beers are offered from the bar. MVD Restaurant and Bar’s distinct flavors and classy, calming atmosphere will transport you to a whole new world of fine dining.

Menu Highlights

If you’re looking for a light appetizer, try the crostini topped with fresh ingredients. For delicious quick bites, check out the empanadas. Homemade gnocchi or tortellini are perfect entree options. And, of course, a cannoli is a must to end the night.
