Once a theater of the former Scranton Central High School that dates back to 1923, The Peoples Security Bank Theater at Lackawanna College underwent a $2.4 million renovation. It now showcases new and refurbished wall and ceiling ornamentation, windows, and exit signs. Old benches were replaced with comfortable plush seating. It hosts school events and community concerts, seats more than 1,000 people, and is wheelchair accessible for both the main floor and balcony.
