A Shohola Landmark Since 1849

Every good neighborhood bar is full of stories, and at Rohman’s Pub in Shohola, the memories are endless. This old-school bar has been open since 1849. It survived fires, wars, and Prohibition. It even served as a makeshift hospital for Civil War soldiers during a tragic train wreck in 1864. And it’s welcomed countless celebrities—everyone from Babe Ruth to Charles Lindbergh have dropped in. So belly up to the hand-carved bar and experience this unique, historic pub for yourself.

Walking into Rohman’s feels like stepping back to the “good old days.” The bar still keeps things no-frills with classic beers, shots, and their signature screwdrivers. A bar menu features appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and platters, while their dining room offers a wider selection in the summer and early fall.

And, of course, they always have some good, old-fashioned fun. They frequently host live music and karaoke nights. You can also make a reservation at their four-lane bowling alley upstairs. The lanes were built in the 1940s, back when you still had to reset the pins manually. And don’t miss the annual Rohman’s Men’s Winter Olympics. Locals and visitors alike compete in events all day long, including the iconic keg toss.
