Healthy eating meets a foodie paradise at Root 11 Bistro in Bloomsburg. This cozy café whips up nutritious, local cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Thanks to area farms, producers and bakers, they have the freshest ingredients from right here in NEPA.

Root 11 Bistro started off as Mike’s Food Truck in Danville. The food truck is still on the road, but the new brick-and-mortar shop means they can share their delicious eats all year round.

Dietary restrictions are no problem at Root 11. They offer plenty of vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options.

Menu Highlights

This casual café has a great selection of soups, salads and sandwiches. Try a grass-fed beef burger topped with grilled apple, local cheddar cheese, and maple Dijon. The wild-caught salmon burgers can’t be beat.

Root 11’s vegan options go way beyond salads. Dig in to the pan-fried falafel or the mashed chickpea salads. The vegan Santa Fe sandwich featured chickpeas, corn, black beans, cilantro, greens, and onion on a toasted ciabatta roll.
