The Marketplace at Steamtown is the former home of the Mall at Steamtown. This new lifestyle center, in the heart of downtown Scranton, features a wide assortment of places to eat, shop and work all under one roof.

Patrons can enjoy shopping at Boscov’s, and other local shops like Cronin’s Irish Cottage. The Marketplace also hosts the Scranton Public Market, where local, small businesses can set up shop, and sell their art, jewelry, authentic food and so much more, with views overlooking Steamtown National Historic Site.

Scranton Public Market is a place where makers, bakers and creators can come together to build a community, and remind customers to shop local.  You can also enjoy live music every Saturday and community events all year long.

Adventurous visitors can get their fill of snakes, alligators, turtles, rainforest animals and more fish than they can count at the Electric City Aquarium and Reptile Den. The aquarium is open daily and can accommodate field trips, birthday parties and other special events.

The Marketplace at Steamtown is also home to Luzerne County Community College’s Scranton Extension Center, as well as the medical offices of Geisinger, Lehigh Valley Health Network and Electric City Dentistry.
