These Views Are Worth the Climb

Make the trek to Top of the World, and you’ll understand how this scenic vista got its name. This 4.2-mile loop will lead you through the Dunmore Pine Barrens and to the edge of the sheer, rocky cliffs. From the summit, you’ll get a bird’s-eye view of Roaring Brook and the dense forests below.

The trail is a moderate hike with some rocky and steep sections. After all, a view like this has to have a little bit of a fun challenge.

Top of the World is located on private property, but the public is welcome to hike during daylight hours. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Note that ATVs and dirt bikes from Lost Trails also use this route.

Parking and trail access are available off of Tigue Street and at the Dunmore Reservoir.
