Vecina is an upscale sewing studio and shop in downtown Scranton. They offer private lessons such as a Sewing 101 and a Hems, Alterations, and Repairs Workshop. You can browse their list of lessons and workshops on their website, and schedule your selection with the owner Jamie at the time that works best for you. They also offer open Studio Time where you can rent out the sewing studio for 2 hours at a time. During your rented time, you have full access to all the sewing equipment so you can build on your sewing skills at your own pace.

Vecina also creates their own line of bags, pillows, and more. Each item is made with individually sourced materials and sewn in Scranton. Beautiful craftsmanship gives each item its own personality. Visit Vecina’s bright, colorful studio at the historic Scranton Life Building.
