The West Pittston Public Library is part of the Luzerne County Library System and is the oldest library in Luzerne County. Members can use their free library card to enjoy a number of materials including printed books, newspapers, periodicals, eBooks, and more. There are fax and photocopying services on site.
Additional resources at the library include: databases for research, an American history and popular culture research database, genealogy services, and education, job hunting and training information.
The library offers fun events and programs for members of all ages, from children as young as two years old to adulthood. Programs include a summer reading program and an arts and crafts series for elementary aged children.
The library is open Monday through Saturday.
