Home to Local History, Lore, and Legacy
The White Haven Area Community Library is a resource for locals and visitors alike. The library is located in a restored engine house from the Lehigh Valley Railroad. The front lobby serves as a visitors center with a collection of historic displays and artifacts.
Your library card will give you access to a large selection of books, technology, and other resources. Membership is free for all residents in the White Haven zip code (18661). Non-residents can join for a small registration fee.
The White Haven Area Community Library also hosts fun and educational programs for kids, teens, and adults.
Rail Yard Park
Behind the library, Rail Yard Park provides a beautiful green space complete with native plants, picnic tables, and space for outdoor activities. The park provides safe pedestrian access between the library, the D&L Trail, and downtown White Haven.
