Freshly fallen snow makes for a picture-perfect winter hike.

We set out in search for the perfect place for a winter hike, and we found just that at Tuscarora State Park in Barnesville. The park is open year-round and is a great place to take the family out on an adventure during any season.

We started our journey on the Old Log Trail. The path followed an old logging road lined with rhododendron bushes. We then ventured onto the Spirit of Tuscarora Trail, which was named after the famous “Spirit Tree.” As we hiked along the snowy terrain, we were met with the abundant sounds of songbirds.

We just happened to bring the camera along and had to share the stunning snow-covered scenery. Check it out.
