Imagine it: summer evenings, baseball, $1 hotdogs and dogs and puppies everywhere. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, we are here to tell you that it’s every bit real, and we even have the pics to prove it.

Last night, we stopped by PNC Field and watched the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders play the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. It was literally fun for the whole family, including the dog. Every Wednesday home game, fans are encouraged to bring their furry, four-legged family member to the stadium. They call it Waggin’ Wednesday and we can say it’s a hit (see what we did there?).

As we walked through the stadium, we couldn’t help but stop and meet every pup along the way. Bailey, Lucy, and Marley were some of the first dogs we met and their excitement matched that of the fans as they cheered at every run scored. We eventually made our way to the outfield lawn where families (and their pups) were sprawled out and enjoying the game.

Tails were certainly waggin’ as the RailRiders shutout the Iron Pigs in a 14-0 victory. It was a perfect end to a perfect summer evening and, of course, we brought the camera along for the ride. Check it out!
