Boo to you!

It’s go time, kids. The spookiest weekend of the year culminates in the one day when it’s not only acceptable but expected that you walk the dark streets of your neighborhood knocking on strangers doors asking for candy. Plus, parents actually tolerate you eating fistfuls of candy right up until bedtime for this one night only. It’s the holy grail of childhood traditions. And what a fine celebration it is.

While we wait for sundown on Tuesday, October 31, there are lots of chances to dress up and celebrate the holiday with friends. Hit up a trunk or treat, a costume contest or check out a glowing pumpkin trail this weekend. We’ve rounded up ten events to hold you over until All Hallows’ Eve. Hope your Halloween is a total scream!
