Berwick, PA – Daily through December 29
More than 70 years of tradition come alive as Berwick’s Market Street transforms into Christmas Boulevard. Lights, decorated trees, and festive displays line the street all month long from 6-10 p.m.
Scranton, PA – Daily through January 5
Christmas is a big deal at 300 Prospect Ave, and if you’ve ever visited the Smurl house it’s easy to see why. Every December, the family illuminates their Scranton neighborhood with an impressive holiday display.
Carbondale, PA – Fridays-Sundays through January 1
Thousands of lights, hand-painted cutouts, and even a photo-op with Santa make this free light display a family favorite. Don’t miss the sweets shack selling funnel cakes or other light snacks as well.
Tunkhannock, PA – Daily through December 3 (except Christmas Eve)
You know it’s Christmastime when the line of cars outside Stone Hedge stretches down the road. From miniature models of local landmarks to pop culture icons, the Festival of Lights makes the season bright.
Scranton, PA – Daily through January 7
Nay Aug’s Light Spectacular is a must-see. Visitors can begin at the park entrance on Mulberry Street. Featuring more than 100 light displays, the display is free and open to the public, although donations are accepted.
Elysburg, PA – Daily through December 31 (except Christmas Eve & Day)
Give the holiday season a warm welcome at Knoebels’ annual lights show with tons of new displays for 2023. Beginning at the Impulse Coaster and winding through the park, you’ll see all your favorite attractions and locations totally decked out.
Sugarloaf, PA – Thursday-Sunday through December 31 (except Christmas Eve)
Sugarloaf Golf Club hosts one of NEPA’s most immersive Christmas light experiences. The walk-through light display includes themed sections and a new Mega Tree.
Peckville, PA – Daily through January 7
The Peckville Christmas House (1130 Marion St.) has become a holiday staple. Walk the path or drive around the house to take in the twinkling lights and figures of favorite characters dressed in their holiday best.
Lehman Twp, PA – Thursday – Sunday through Dec. 31
This one-of-a-kind drive through adventure that takes you on a journey spanning over one mile. Twinkling stars, majestic reindeer, and jolly Santas all come together to create a whimsical atmosphere that’s truly unforgettable.
Shawnee on Delaware, PA – Various departure times
Take the Shawnee version of the polar express along a lighted trail to Santa’s Workshop. Board their cozy, heated tram to meet the big man himself. Enjoy holiday movies on a big screen, a roaring fire pit, singing carols, and indulge in s’mores, hot chocolate, cookies, and the holiday spirit.
