Yesterday, we checked out the area’s freshest brewery, Mutant Brewing, in Scranton. And as we walked through the doorway, it was apparent that this brewery bucked the norm with its blend of contemporary craft beer culture and a bit of 80’s nostalgia.

The first thing that caught our eye was the edgy decor that perfectly matched the brewery’s eccentric beer can graphics. Skateboards, magazine covers and Mutant Brewing merch lined the walls while TV’s rotated through original digital artwork. The taproom even features a small arcade where patrons can try their hand at classic games like Pac-Man and Tetris. 

With 12 beers on tap, Mutant Brewing’s diverse range of flavors is sure to have something to satisfy everyone.

The grand opening celebration continues this weekend with local food trucks, live music, and of course great beer.
