National Manufacturing Week, observed October 6-13 this year, showcases the potential of modern manufacturing while fostering interest in manufacturing careers. We’ve partnered with Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) to highlight manufacturers right here in NEPA. The culmination of the six-part blog series is Manufacturing Day, a one-day event showcasing made-in-PA products.

Manufacturing Sector Thriving in NEPA

Let’s keep the momentum going for NEPIRC’s Manufacturing Day event, taking place October 13th, by looking at six more profiles of Northeastern Pennsylvania manufacturers. Attending NEPIRC’s Manufacturing Day is a great way to learn more about our region’s manufacturing industry and its many contributions to our global supply chain.

Mark your calendars for NEPIRC’s Manufacturing Day Best Practices Summit & Expo on Friday, October 13th at Mohegan Pennsylvania. This celebration of our region’s manufacturing industry is open to everyone! Professionals can network with more than 100 exhibitors, attend educational sessions and panel discussions and hear from keynote speaker Pete Ruggiero, COO of Crayola. Students who are interested in trade careers can explore Johnson College’s Mobile Technology Lab and meet the young manufacturing professionals who are part of NEPIRC’s Manufacturing Ambassador Dream Team.

Ticket prices for professionals start at $50, and students can attend the event at a special rate of $35.
