In June of 2023, Carolyn Hawk Horter died at the age of 46 of colon cancer. She loved cooking, reading, yoga and being with her friends and family. Her wish was for friends to diligently maintain their colon cancer screening or to assist a loved one with their screening needs. In honor of Colon Cancer Awareness Month and Carolyn’s love for yoga, Jaya Yoga’s is holding a community class and donating profits to the Northeast Regional Cancer Institute in Carolyn’s memory.
