Join Yoga Flow with Lisa Mo at Peace of Mind at 5:30 pm on the second Thursday of each month for a very special blend of restorative yoga and the healing energy of Reiki. Presented in a warm, softly lit room with ambient music, this class requires no previous yoga experience. Gift yourself this unique blend of modalities as an opportunity for self-care each month.

📍Class will be 75 minutes in length.
📍Investment is $15, or one punch on your PoM class card + $5. (Class not included with monthly unlimited passes.)
📍Class size is limited to 10 participants, so pre-registration with payment at the studio or via Venmo (@kristen-yuhas-1) is encouraged to guarantee your spot as this class has been known to sell out.
📍Include “Dec Reiki” in the Venmo note (and your name if paying from a Venmo account that does not match your name.)
📍Registration fee is non-refundable, but can be transferred to the following month’s R+R class by contacting us in advance.

Restorative yoga is a completely different experience than most other styles of yoga. Together we will be guided through a series of grounded postures where the body is completely supported by props (bolsters, blocks, etc.) that are held for a longer duration, allowing the body to open through passive stretching.

While these poses are held, Lisa will circulate throughout the room to share Reiki energy with each participant. Reiki is a Japanese method of working with the universal life-force energy within us all. It can help promote relaxation while reducing stress and anxiety by guiding energy throughout the body to promote the recipient’s self-healing abilities.

When the body enters a state of relaxation the mind can also consciously relax as tension is released from both body and mind.

What to bring:
A bolster and blocks if you have them (if borrowing a studio bolster, you may wish to bring a pillowcase)
Yoga mat
Water
Anything you’d like to get cozy on the floor (your favorite blanket, eye pillow, etc.)

Please note: essential oil blends or sprays may be used during this experience. Please inform the instructor of any allergies or sensitivities to scents/fragrances/essential oils prior to the start of class.
