On Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 10am, meet Pike County Conservation District (PCCD) and Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) staff for a beautiful stream-side hike to celebrate Conservation District Week and the wonderful natural resources of Pike County.
they will be hiking the Scenic Gorge Trail, a 1.5 mile loop of moderate difficulty. Bring water, comfortable shoes, and a passion for conservation!
Following the hike, PEEC’s EcoZone Discovery Room will be open to the public from 1-4pm, free of charge thanks to support from the William Penn Foundation! If you plan to stay after the hike for the EcoZone, consider bringing a packed lunch to eat on a picnic table while you enjoy PEEC’s scenery.
