I’m sorry… did you say suitcase pizza?
This storied establishment on Wyoming Avenue in Forty Fort has been cranking out delicious pizzas for generations. The Fort Café is an unassuming, stout brick building on a quaint, tree-lined section of the avenue. With its long bar and spacious back dining room, the Fort is the most famous pizza joint you’ve never heard of. Stop in for their delicious thin crust pizza and some of the region’s best wings. And if you can’t stay, take home the 18-cut “suitcase” pizza.
Be sure to check out their sister restaurant, Café Piazza, on Market St. in Kingston for lunch and fine-dining dinner on select evenings. Their fusion cuisine features Italian dishes, classic comfort foods, hot and cold sandwiches, homemade pasta and more.
