Wonder. Exploration. Understanding. Stewardship.
Bring the whole family to visit the Schisler Museum and the McMunn Planetarium. It’s the only science-center in the Pocono Mountains region where you can explore nature and space all in the same place. The museum is located right on East Stroudsburg University’s campus. Spend an hour or two exploring the 8 different wildlife exhibits inside the museum. Then, head over to the planetarium to learn about the stars. They show 5 films on their 30-foot planetarium dome daily.
Kids of all ages may just find their new favorite animal among the 140 different specimens on display. And maybe that evening they will look up at the night sky with just a little more wonder than usual.
Admission includes access to both museum and planetarium. Free parking is available within ESU lots. Check out the website for more information.
