Explore Modern Sculptures Along Pittston's Art Loop Trail

Pittston's Art Loop Trail is a walkable outdoor gallery featuring over twenty mixed media sculptures by local artists. Located behind and around the Pittston Memorial Library, this trail showcases the city's vibrant art scene year-round.

An Outdoor Collection of Mixed Media Sculptures by Local Artists

The arts are alive and on display year round in downtown Pittston as seen along the city’s Art Loop Trail. This walkable space, located behind and around the Pittston Memorial Library, is a menagerie of sculpted artwork. More then twenty welded steel, found object, carved granite and cast iron creations come together to showcase the city’s vibrant art scene.

Visit the trail, check out the impressive murals throughout the downtown, visit a Main Street art gallery or take part in the city’s Second Friday Art Walk monthly through September.

There are lots of reasons to visit Pittston and its booming downtown. From shops to restaurants, Pittston is having an epic resurgence and the arts are no exception. Explore the thriving art community and support local artists in NEPA along the Art Loop Trail.

Michelle is a life-long NEPA resident and currently calls the Back Mountain home. She loves telling stories that highlight the places, people, and things that make this area such a great place to live. Teagan Staudenmeier, Intern

Teagan Staudenmeier is a Wilkes-Barre native. She is a senior at Penn State University Park studying photojournalism and is expected to graduate in the spring of 2023. When she isn't taking photos, you can find her grabbing coffee and thrifting with friends, hiking with her family or petting one of her four dogs.

Matt is a life-long resident of NEPA who couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. He enjoys an array of outdoor recreational activities, spending quality time with his wife and three children and is not ashamed when people hear that he puts butter in his coffee.
