Cheers to Masterfully Crafted Wines and Good Times

Soak in a scenic mountain sunset and sip on a glass of great, local wine.

Maiolatesi Wine Cellars is home to luxurious wines and breathtaking views. It’s a place where you can let your hair down and have fun with family and friends. Family is a central part of the business, and you’ll feel it right away in the warm atmosphere. Owner and winemaker, Sal got his start making wine when he uncovered an old wine press made by his great grandfather. This discovery sparked a passion for making homemade wine, which resulted in his opening of the well-loved winery and retail space on 36 acres in Scott Township.

Maiolatesi’s offers more than 30 varieties of wine. Whether you want a glass (or a bottle) of something fruity and sweet or delicate and dry, there’s a wine for you here. Go on and take a seat in the Tuscan-themed tasting room. Seasoned woodwork and earthy tiles transport you directly to the famed central Italian region. Then, as you stroll onto the expansive deck, breathtaking views of the lush, Endless Mountains bring you right back to NEPA.

And talk about the perfect pairing for your fine wine: visit on the weekend to try one of their gourmet dishes. Their dinner menu is kept small so that each specialty is perfectly crafted. Make a reservation on a Friday night to taste their legendary pizza made in a hearth-style oven. On Saturdays and Sundays, come for dinner and choose from options like The Dodd Burger, Ribeye Cheesesteak, or Mac and Cheese.

Plus, there’s always a reason to celebrate at Maiolatesi’s. They hold parties, festivals, and special events all year long.
