Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow | Clay shooting & fly casting in Friendsville

Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow offers a world-class clay shooting experience on 110 acres in Friendsville, PA. Located in the Endless Mountains of Susquehanna County, this expansive shooting range welcomes both seasoned shooters and curious first-timers for a challenging and scenic day outdoors. Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow operates by reservation only. They offer a private and personalized setting for recreational shooters, corporate events or group retreats.

The course features up to 30 sporting clay stations, a tower field, covered five stand, skeet field and a simulated quail covey. Targets and stations are updated regularly to keep the experience fresh and realistic. The range focuses on Hunter Clays, offering field-style shots that mimic real-world conditions. Fly casting lessons are also available on-site, using their peaceful on-property ponds and expert instructors to guide beginners or sharpen seasoned anglers’ skills.

Whether warming up on the wobble trap, taking shotgun lessons, or enjoying a quiet afternoon of casting, Hausmann’s Hidden Hollow delivers a complete outdoor sporting experience. The laid-back clubhouse offers space for small meetings or custom retreats, and the entire property is managed with a focus on safety, skill development and fun. Break-open shotguns are preferred, though autoloaders and pump shotguns are welcome with all shooters required to follow posted range rules.
