Winter in NEPA
With 7 ski resorts throughout NEPA’s Pocono Mountains and Endless Mountains, we’re usually good for a few months of shredding. Many of our local, state & national parks are still open for business, which means a whole season of snowy, scenic hikes and maybe even a little ice fishing. In between sledding on snow days, polar plunges, charming ice festivals and dining out in our little igloos, it’s safe to say old man winter just can’t slow us down.
NEPA is home to 7 popular mountain ski resorts. From the southern reaches of the Pocono Mountains to the snowy, northern Endless Mountains, we take our winter sports seriously. And it’s not all just about poles and skis. Most resorts also feature terrain parks for snowboarding and quite a few leave a few runs open to snowtubing.

Winter Weekend Getaways
Ok, fine. Sometimes, during the winter, we also like to cozy up next to a fire, plunk down into a hot tub, or even float down the lazy river. It can’t be all about fun on the slopes and trails. Everyone deserves a little pampering every now and then.
At so many of NEPA’s amazing resorts, that’s specifically what winter is all about. Book a classic, romantic couple’s getaway. Load up the whole family for a weekend at the indoor waterpark. Or, go solo and treat yourself to some “me time” with a spa sneak-away.
