Ecology III Family Tree Farm | Real Trees & Holiday Traditions in Orangeville
Ecology III Family Tree Farm in Orangeville, PA offers fresh Christmas trees and a classic cut-your-own holiday farm experience. Since 1993, families have visited the farm to find the perfect tree and start seasonal traditions.
The farm grows several popular Christmas tree varieties on site. Visitors can browse rows of Douglas fir, Fraser fir, Concolor fir and Colorado blue spruce trees. Each variety offers its own color, needle texture and fragrance, giving guests plenty of options for different homes and decorating styles.
Owners Ted and Nancy Jacobsen planted Ecology III Christmas Tree Farm in 1988. They handle most of the growing and cultivation work themselves with seasonal help for planting and tree sales. Their hands-on approach helps maintain the quality of the farm’s trees each year.
Ecology III Family Tree Farm opens each season from Black Friday through Christmas. The farm welcomes visitors on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the holiday season. Customers can explore the fields, select a tree and cut it down with tools provided by the farm.
For convenience, the farm shakes, drills and bales trees free of charge. Saws, measuring sticks and tree “limos” help customers transport trees from the field. The farm also sells tapered steel pin tree stands.
Guests can also pick up handcrafted wreaths and swags made by Nancy, adding festive decorations to complete their holiday setup.
Ecology III Family Tree Farm in Orangeville offers fresh-cut Christmas trees and a simple holiday tradition for families each winter.
