Public Art That Tells a Story
The Berwick Mural Project marked the beginning of the town’s modern public art movement. This grassroots initiative brought local artists and residents together to create 10 vibrant murals and a reusable sculpture installation, celebrating community pride and artistic collaboration. The project not only beautified public spaces but also served as a catalyst for broader cultural development in the area.
Grants, Events & Artist Support
Now a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the Berwick Arts Association actively pursues grants and fundraising opportunities to expand the Berwick Arts District. One of its standout initiatives is the “Call for Art” grant program, which compensates local artists for their contributions to public art. The organization also promotes workshops, live performances, and collaborative events that connect artists with the wider community while encouraging creative exploration across multiple disciplines.
