Mission Statement
Friends & Ferals is a volunteer-led nonprofit that works to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) the stray, feral and community cats in Columbia, Montour and Northumberland Counties as well as educate the public on the importance of sterilization for stray and owned pets while additionally acting as a resource and support for both the animals and people of our community.

In addition to hands-on services, the organization educates the public about the long-term benefits of TNR, helping to dispel myths and promote more compassionate approaches to feral cat management.
Funding Hope & Finding Homes
Friends & Ferals relies on donations and grassroots fundraising to provide these services at no cost to those caring for community cats. The organization also works to place adoptable cats and kittens into safe, loving homes through foster care and adoption networks. Every effort, from trapping to adoption, is fueled by volunteers and donors who believe in humane solutions for at-risk animals.
