Mission Statement

Friends & Ferals is a volunteer-led nonprofit that works to TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) the stray, feral and community cats in Columbia, Montour and Northumberland Counties as well as educate the public on the importance of sterilization for stray and owned pets while additionally acting as a resource and support for both the animals and people of our community.

Based in Columbia County, Pa, Friends & Ferals is a nonprofit dedicated to the humane management of community cats through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) services. They aim to reduce feline overpopulation by providing TNR, education and support for local communities. Volunteers are essential to their efforts, assisting with trapping, transportation and monitoring. Friends & Ferals also promotes awareness of the benefits of TNR. With a focus on sustainability and compassion, they fundraise to cover TNR costs and provide resources for the adoption of cats into safe homes.
