Marine Corps League Detachment 1039 in White Haven is a nonprofit veterans organization made up of Marines and FMF Corpsmen who continue to serve with pride. United by shared values of honor, courage and commitment, the detachment supports fellow veterans, conducts outreach efforts and organizes community service projects. Their work includes providing assistance to veterans and families in crisis, contributing to local nonprofits and leading programs that benefit the public.

From hosting Toys for Tots drives to helping local veterans access needed resources, the Marine Corps League Detachment 1039 puts their mission into action. Public Events and Member Engagement
The detachment builds bonds with the community through recurring fundraisers and events. One of their most popular events is a monthly breakfast buffet, held the first Sunday of every month, which brings neighbors and veterans together. Membership is open to all active, reserve and honorably discharged Marines and FMF Corpsmen, as well as to supporters who uphold the League’s mission and values as associate members.
