To help ensure homebound individuals can stay safe and remain independent in their homes, Monroe County Meals on Wheels provides superior nutritional support, a daily human connection, and a variety of other supportive services.
Meals on Wheels Monroe County delivers nutritious, low-cost meals to those in need in Stroudsburg and surrounding communities. They primarily serve senior citizens and homebound people, although they will help anyone in need regardless of age or income.
The affordable meals allow seniors to maintain their independence and remain healthy. However, Meals on Wheels is about more than just feeding those in need. The daily deliveries also brighten people’s days and let them know that someone is checking in on their wellbeing.
Their pet program can help feed your furry friend. Through community support and donations they are able to provide one to two weeks of pet food to current Meals on Wheels clients every month.
