Paint the Planet Pink | Nonprofit powering cancer research through community action in Pennsylvania
Paint the Planet Pink is a nonprofit organization based in Pennsylvania, founded in 2014 by breast cancer survivor Barb Sciandra to raise critical funds for cancer research. Motivated by her personal experience and a vision to support breakthroughs across all forms of cancer, Sciandra launched the organization to unite communities around awareness, education & action. Paint the Planet Pink’s mission is rooted in the belief that through local support and collective effort, real progress toward a cure is possible.
Events That Inspire Giving & Awareness
Each fall, the organization hosts a series of vibrant, community-focused events designed to engage and uplift while raising essential research funds. From organized walks and benefit socials to fundraisers and themed gatherings, every event offers participants a chance to honor loved ones, share stories & contribute to a greater cause. These events also serve to spread knowledge and encourage early detection through ongoing education efforts.
