Patriots Cove empowers injured veterans and first responders to see past their injuries and illnesses and find a new purpose in life. Empower caregivers with the network and resources necessary to successfully care and advocate for their injured patriots, while promoting their own well-being.
Patriots Cove | Healing, service & connection outdoors in Noxen
Patriots Cove in Noxen, PA is a nonprofit organization founded by a military veteran and his spouse to support fellow veterans, first responders, and their caregivers. Designed as a peaceful retreat, Patriots Cove offers fishing events, educational programs, environmental projects, and caregiver-specific activities—all focused on healing, connection, and recovery for those injured in the line of duty.
Restorative Outdoor Experiences
Set on an 18-acre, wheelchair-accessible property, Patriots Cove includes a lodge home, activities center, pavilion, ADA-compliant fishing docks, trails, rest areas, and a fire pit. These spaces provide a tranquil environment where participants can connect with nature, share experiences, and find strength through camaraderie and outdoor recreation.
Programs for Patriots & Caregivers
Fishing retreats and caregiver events are open exclusively to those injured in service and their caregivers. Patriots Cove offers free lodging, meals, and equipment to ensure accessibility. Participants can also give back by volunteering as fishing guides and mentors, continuing the mission of mutual support.
Register for Events
As an event-operated facility, Patriots Cove requires all participants to register in advance through their website. Each program is carefully planned to foster trust, reflection, and healing among those who have served and sacrificed.
