The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is a nonprofit organization in Dingmans Ferry, PA dedicated to environmental education and outdoor exploration. Since 1972, PEEC has welcomed thousands of visitors each year as the education partner of the National Park Service in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Through hands-on programs, scenic trails, and immersive experiences, PEEC fosters a deeper connection to the natural world.
Outdoor Experiences for All Ages
PEEC offers six hiking trails that wind through diverse habitats and provide opportunities to observe native plants and wildlife. Their weekend programs and summer camps are designed for families, school groups, scouts, photographers, and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Whether you’re visiting for the day or staying for a program, PEEC provides a welcoming environment for nature discovery.
Environmental Education in Action
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, PEEC promotes sustainability, conservation, and science education through hands-on learning.
