SAFE’s mission is to support and empower families affected by autism spectrum disorders. We work to identify services and activities specific to their needs. Our goal is to provide a sense of inclusion and opportunity for those families within the local community and the ASD community.

SAFE (Supporting Autism and Families Everywhere) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Hazleton, PA that provides support, education, and inclusive opportunities for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Since 1995, SAFE has served individuals with autism, along with their families, caretakers, and professionals, by sharing the latest in therapeutic practices, interventions, and community-based resources.
Building Inclusive Communities
SAFE works to break down social barriers and promote inclusion through a wide range of programs and activities. These opportunities help individuals with ASD engage with their communities, develop social skills, and build confidence. The organization’s ultimate goal is to support people with autism in leading full, independent lives.
Membership, Programs & Scholarships
SAFE offers programming and events for individuals of all ages. Membership gives families access to autism-friendly activities and support services throughout the year. Scholarships are also available to ensure that cost is never a barrier to participation.
SAFE continues to create a stronger, more inclusive community for individuals with autism and their families in Hazleton.
