The St. Peter’s Community Resource Center in Lehighton is a faith-based 501(c)(3) focused on assisting people in need through referral services, providing space for others to operate their nonprofits and helping people with everyday items such as toiletry and food needs.
The Bare Necessities Pantry is a toiletry and food pantry open to residents of the Lehighton, Palmerton and Jim Thorpe School Districts who qualify for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). The pantry operates the fourth Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Brian K Kresge Street Outreach Project is now a part of the SPCRC.
The center also has space available for other nonprofits to operate and rental space available for parties, funerals and weddings.
