Supporters of Camp Archbald | Protecting a century of Girl Scout history in Kingsley

Supporters of Camp Archbald is a nonprofit group made up of Girl Scout alumni and community members working to preserve Camp Archbald in Kingsley. Established in 1920, Camp Archbald is the second oldest Girl Scout camp in the world. The Supporters are committed to ensuring this beloved site continues to serve future generations by maintaining its historic character, preventing its sale, and advocating for strong communication with council leadership.

Preserving Tradition and Inspiring Future Leaders

The Supporters focus on protecting the camp’s historic buildings, maintaining its natural beauty, and expanding access for girls from all backgrounds. Their mission includes empowering girls to grow in confidence, leadership and outdoor skills through time-honored camp experiences. By working closely with volunteers and donors, the organization keeps the spirit of Camp Archbald alive.

Volunteer-Run Programs for Thousands of Girls

All programming is made possible by dedicated volunteers. The Supporters run traditional summer resident camps, outdoor adventure days and specialized archery experiences. These events serve thousands of girls who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend summer camp, helping them gain new skills and lasting friendships.

Supporters of Camp Archbald welcome new members, volunteers and donors who want to help preserve this iconic camp. Every contribution supports both the property and the girls who call it home.
