Mission Statement
Supporters of Camp Archbald (SoCA) is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring that future Girl Scouts, along with alumni, supporters, families and the surrounding community have access to the amazing opportunities and resources that camp has to offer.
The Supporters of Camp Archbald are a group of Girl Scout alumni and friends on a mission to protect Camp Archbald in Kingsley. The camp was founded in 1920, making it the second oldest Girl Scout camp in the world. The Supporters’ main goals are to preserve the camp for future Girl Scouts, protect and repair historic buildings, prevent the sale of the property, communicate with council leadership and empower girls to reach their potential.
Camp Archbald’s programs are completely volunteer-run. The Supporters organize traditional resident camps, as well as outdoor adventure days and archery programs. These programs serve thousands of girls who would otherwise not be able to attend camp.
There are plenty of ways you can help save Camp Archbald. Your donation keeps their camp programs alive and helps preserve and repair the historic property. You can also join as a member or a camp volunteer.
