Mission Statement

As a cancer wellness and resource center, we work hard to provide support to cancer patients and their loved ones in a loving, safe and home-like environment.

At The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA in Forty Fort, no one walks alone during their battle with cancer. The center provides free support services to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of patients and their caregivers.

Penny Cunningham founded the nonprofit in memory of her sister, Candice Vincent-Mamary, who lost her battle with cancer in 1998. Candy envisioned a way to help other cancer patients, and Penny brought her dream to life.

The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA is a 7,000-square-foot facility filled with resources and activities. The fitness center helps patients feel their best with yoga, exercise classes and one-on-one training. Healing arts like reiki, massage therapy, facials and reflexology provide physical relief, while support groups and meditation sessions help with emotional healing. They also offers cancer resource materials, educational workshops and a wig and accessory boutique.

Lend a hand at The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA by becoming a volunteer, sending a donation or attending a fundraiser like their annual walk or fashion show.
