The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA | Compassionate support & healing services in Forty Fort
The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA in Forty Fort is a nonprofit organization offering free support to individuals affected by cancer. Founded by Penny Cunningham in memory of her sister Candice Vincent-Mamary, the center was created to honor Candy’s vision of helping others through their cancer journey. Today, it stands as a comforting and empowering space where no one faces cancer alone.
Wellness Programs for Mind & Body
Housed in a 7,000-square-foot facility, the center provides a wide range of services to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of patients and caregivers. Programs include yoga, exercise classes and personal fitness training, as well as reiki, massage, facials and reflexology. Support groups and meditation sessions create a safe space for emotional healing and community connection.
Educational Resources & Community Engagement
The organization also offers educational materials, workshops and a boutique with wigs and accessories for patients in treatment. The nonprofit relies on volunteers, donations and community events—including an annual walk and fashion show—to continue its mission. Every service is offered free of charge, making a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.
