The Wright Center in Scranton, PA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and welfare of communities through responsive, whole-person health services. The Wright Center for Community Health
The Wright Center for Community Health operates a network of primary care community health centers throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. Services include primary and preventive care, pediatrics, dental care, behavioral health and addiction and recovery support services.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQLA), the organization provides care to everyone, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. No patient is turned away due to inability to pay. A sliding-fee discount program is available for those who qualify.
Care is delivered through a Patient-Centered Medical Home Model. This team-based approach integrates medical, dental and behavioral health services under one roof. Providers focus on coordination, prevention and long-term wellness across a patient’s lifespan.

Its model enhances care coordination, protects patient privacy and improves access to health records. The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education
In addition to patient care, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education is a Teaching Health Center and HRSA-funded Graduate Medical Education Safety-Net Consortium. It offers ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs in community-based clinical settings.
Resident physicians train under experienced faculty while serving patients in the communities that need them most. This model strengthens the local workforce and ensures access to compassionate, high-quality care for future generations.
