Mission Statement
The West Hazleton Fire Department is a combination career and volunteer fire department that is committed to the protection of West Hazleton’s residents, businesses and visitors through an aggressive prevention and suppression program.
The West Hazleton Fire Department is a volunteer and paid organization of highly trained volunteers and operators who work 24/7 to provide fire protection and other emergency assistance to the residents of the Borough of West Hazleton.
This continuous emergency assistance is done through responses for structure fires, vehicle accidents, vehicle fires and hazardous materials responses.
