National Manufacturing Week, observed October 6-13 this year, showcases the potential of modern manufacturing while fostering interest in manufacturing careers. We’ve partnered with Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC) to highlight manufacturers right here in NEPA. The culmination of the six-part blog series is Manufacturing Day, a one-day event showcasing made-in-PA products.

Mark your calendar for October 13th for NEPIRC's 2023 Manufacturing Day Event

NEPIRC’s annual MFG DAY event is a time to celebrate our regional manufacturing sector. The event will feature more than 80 exhibitors showcasing their made-in-PA products and will also include workshops led by industry experts, making it an extraordinary day. There will also be panel discussions on leadership and cybersecurity, demonstrations of cutting-edge robotics and other interactive activities. Attendees will hear from renowned industry expert, Pete Ruggerio, COO of Crayola, who will discuss how Crayola was able to thrive amongst the supply chain chaos we all experienced during COVID-19.

To draw attention to NEPA’s regional manufacturers in anticipation of Manufacturing Day, NEPIRC’s blog series will highlight manufacturers in our region. We hope you enjoy learning about these companies, their products and their importance to our region and beyond.
