Pennsylvania has always been at the heart of the American story, and as we prepare for the Semiquincentennial, America250PA is celebrating the traditions that connect us across counties and communities. Food — especially the comfort food we share year after year — is part of that story.
And few foods say Pennsylvania quite like a Dairymen’s milkshake
They’ve been delighting PA Farm Show crowds since 1953 and supporting charitable causes statewide through their sales. And now, their classic treat is getting a patriotic twist just in time for 2026.
America250PA has partnered with the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association and Visit PA to introduce a special America250PA Milkshake Flight—a patriotic trio of naturally colored red (strawberry), white (vanilla), and blue (raspberry) flavors.
The 2026 PA Farm Show runs January 9–17 and will help kick off America250PA’s year-long celebration of the Semiquincentennial
The Dairymen’s booth will feature the new flight plus grilled cheese sandwiches, mozzarella cubes, ice cream, and more Farm Show staples we all know and love.
This year’s Farm Show theme — “Growing a Nation” — is a fitting reminder of the role Pennsylvania agriculture has played in shaping America. The milkshake flight adds a fun, flavorful touch to that celebration.
Northeastern Pennsylvania has deep agricultural roots, strong dairy traditions, and a long history of communities gathering around good food. The America250PA Milkshake Flight celebrates those connections. It invites us to raise a cup (or three!) to the people, places, and traditions that define the region — and to welcome the Semiquincentennial with a smile.
