Frank C. Vito began his journey in the industry at a young age—starting in the fourth grade by blowing off properties after the mowing crew finished. Over the years, he worked his way up to crew leader and remained in the field throughout college. After earning an undergraduate degree, he pursued a law degree focused on business, contracts, and finance, eventually working as a corporate attorney while continuing to support the company behind the scenes.

In the winter of this past year, he returned full-time as President. “There’s no better place to start your morning than outdoors,” says Frank. “I love creating spaces that foster connection and harmony with nature.”

Over 40 years in business

The company was founded in 1981 by Frank’s father, who left a career in accounting to pursue a more hands-on path. He was soon joined by his brother, and together they built the business from the ground up. Today, five family members hold key leadership roles. What began as a lawn care and maintenance company has grown significantly over the past decade, expanding its landscape design/build division and snow and ice management services.

A crew worked around the clock to ensure a local healthcare facility remained accessible. “They coordinated with the client in real-time and pre-treated based on our weather tracking systems. The client later told us their emergency services never skipped a beat. That kind of impact is exactly why we do what we do.”
