Bigfoot Snowshoe Race takes place at Shawnee Mountain Ski Area in East Stroudsburg on Sunday, March 1, 2026, with check-in at 8:15 AM and the race starting at 9:00 AM. This timed snowshoe race runs up and down the mountain on closed trails, followed by awards and a raffle.

Check in at Upper Trepp Lodge (snowshoe fitting on the Trepp deck). The race starts at the bottom of Lower Bushkill Trail. Proceeds benefit the Bushkill Outreach food pantry. Entry includes professional timing with online results, raffle entry, a Bigfoot water bottle, and free race photos. Pricing is $30 race only, $60 with a full-day lift ticket, and $15 for snowshoe rental (limited; first-come, first-served). After the race, participants with lift access may ski/ride, but snowshoes are not allowed on the hill once the race ends.
