Cardboard Box Derby races into Blue Mountain Resort in Palmerton on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. This free, family-friendly event invites participants to design and build a cardboard box “racer” and then send it down the Snow Tubing Hills for a fun, one-of-a-kind ride.
Builders can use creativity and crafting skills to construct their ride, with materials limited to cardboard, tape, glue, string, and paper. Spectators can cheer on the action as the finished creations take their turn on the hill.
Prizes will be awarded in multiple categories, including Best Kona Big Wave themed, Fastest, Most Creative, and Biggest Fail of the day.
