Celtic & Bluegrass Sky | Kirby Center for Creative Arts, Kingston

Thursday, March 12, 2026 | 7:00 PM

The Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic presents Celtic & Bluegrass Sky at the Kirby Center for Creative Arts in Kingston on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 7:00 PM—a high-energy concert that blends Celtic tradition, bluegrass brilliance, and classical artistry, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

This genre-defying performance features dueling violin and fiddle soloists, pairing lively Celtic and bluegrass tunes with orchestral works including Michael Torke’s Sky, a vibrant bluegrass violin concerto; John Williams’ Suite from Far and Away; and Ina Boyle’s The Magic Harp.

Guest artists include classical-bluegrass violinist Kitty Amaral and fiddler Caitlin Warbelow, known for her work on Broadway’s Come From Away. Together with the Philharmonic, they’ll deliver an evening of toe-tapping rhythms, lyrical beauty, and exhilarating musicianship.
