Coffee & Birds takes place at Beltzville State Park in Lehighton on Friday, April 17, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Led by park naturalist and avid birder Rob Bergstresser, this seasonal program combines morning birdwatching with fresh coffee and time outdoors.
Participants will start the morning with bird-friendly, certified organic, shade-grown coffee before heading out on the trails to observe local and migrating bird species. The program offers a relaxed and engaging way to learn more about birding while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the park.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own binoculars for the best viewing experience, though a limited number will be available to borrow during the program. The event is suitable for all experience levels, from beginners to seasoned birders.
The program is weather dependent, and rain will cancel the event.
