This intimate chamber concert explores the rich musical tapestry of Jewish mysticism, folk tradition, and dance through an evocative program for clarinet and string quartet. At its heart is Osvaldo Golijov’s Dreams and Prayers of Isaac the Blind, a mesmerizing work that weaves ancient spiritual themes with modern emotional depth. Traditional klezmer melodies add spirited rhythm and expressive warmth, creating a soundscape that is both soulful and celebratory.
The performance features NEPA Philharmonic clarinetist Pascal Archer, violinists Sasha Margolis and Robyn Quinnett, and Principal Cellist Lucas Button, joined by guest violist Mialtin Zhezha. Together, they bring to life a program that resonates with heart, heritage, and humanity.
