The Eagle Watch Bus Tour, hosted by the Delaware Highlands Conservancy at the Zane Grey Museum in Lackawaxen, departs Saturdays at 10:00 AM from January 3 through February 14, 2026. This scenic, guided outing explores the Upper Delaware River region on a heated bus, offering a comfortable way to look for bald eagles while learning about their winter habitat and conservation.
Tours begin at the Conservancy’s Winter Field Office inside the museum. Seats are limited and advance reservations are required. Pricing is $25 for Conservancy members, $35 for non-members, and children under 12 are free.
Bring your curiosity and dress for brief outdoor stops; binoculars and cameras are encouraged for the best views of these majestic birds.
