Farm Animal Frolic takes place at Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm in Stroudsburg on Saturday and Sunday, May 16–17 and May 23–24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM each day. This seasonal event invites visitors to celebrate spring with hands-on experiences and a closer look at life on a historic working farm.
Guests can meet and interact with newborn farm animals, including lambs, piglets, calves and chicks, while learning about traditional Pennsylvania German farming practices. The event brings the rhythms of 19th-century rural life to life through engaging demonstrations and immersive activities.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy live sheep shearing, a sheep-to-shawl demonstration and a Civil War encampment reenactment. These presentations offer a deeper understanding of historical skills, craftsmanship and daily life on the farm.
Designed for all ages, Farm Animal Frolic provides a family-friendly atmosphere with opportunities to explore, learn and connect with the season.
