Curious about mushrooms? Delve into the fascinating world of fungi during this guided hike in Moosic on Sunday, April 28 at 2:00 pm.

Start by meeting at Ski Shack where Dannielle Bennett, from Connected Fungirl Wellness, will provide a brief educational workshop before leading you on a hike to identify local mushrooms and describe their uses. Please note this event will focus on mushroom identification and education and not on foraging.

Warm chaga mushroom tea and mushroom-infused lip balm will be provided to attendees for FREE. Signed copies of Dannielle’s book “Fungirl’s Funguide – Favorite Wild Mushrooms of Pennsylvania: A Guide for Beginners” will be available for purchase.

This event will be held outdoors and may be rescheduled in the event of heavy storms. Make sure to wear waterproof, treaded shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Don’t forget water!
